Mrs. Ratthana Techaphan-ngam was born and exposed to her family's mattress business when she was a young.

Mr. Somchai Techaphan-ngam began learning experience in the mattress and bedding industry.

After they got married, Mr. Somchai and Mrs. Ratthana Techaphan-ngam had been the manager of Sukkhawatana mattress store, Ladprao road, Bangkok.

Mr. Somchai and Mrs. Rattana Techapantarm jointly established Sompol Bedding and Mattress Industry Partnership Limited (SPB) to provide high-quality mattresses and bedding to Thailand's rapidly growing hotel and construction industries.

Somphol Bedding and Mattress Industry Partnership Limited (SPB) was re-registered as Somphol Bedding and Mattress Industry Co., Ltd., with Somchai Techaphan-ngam as Managing Director and Ratthana Techaphan-ngam as Assistant Managing Director, and began producing its own mattresses and bedding in the name's brand of "Springmate".

In May 1997, SPB's main factory in Bang Sai, Ayutthaya Province, opened and equipped with the latest machinery from Switzerland within a few weeks before the beginning of Thailand's major financial and economic crisis.

Springmate was selected as the exclusive manufacturer of mattresses and bedding products for athletes' accommodations at the 13th Asian Games.

Springmate began exporting the products to Laos and Cambodia.

Springmate received the "Thailand's Brand" symbol from the Ministry of Commerce.
www.springmatemattress.com was launched, so SPB was the first mattress and bedding manufacturer in Thailand to have its own website.

Producing of SPB main factory was increased by new machineries from Switzerland.

SPB's identity and Springmate brand were revamped under the slogan "The Beginning of Everything." Springmate's website address was changed to www.springmate.comที่อยู่เว็บไซต์ของ สปริงเมท ถูกเปลี่ยนเป็น www.springmate.com

Springmate products gained recognition from consumers in Thailand through distribution at Home Pro, Fairy Land Department Store in Nakhon Sawan, Tang Hua Seng Department Store, all branches Fly Now Factory Outlets, all branches Robinson Department Store, and mattress stores nationwide.

In 2012, Springmate Home, the first flagship store opened in December.

In June 2013, Springmate received the "Thailand Trust Mask" symbol from the Ministry of Commerce.
"Raklabb by Springmate" began providing about sleeping knowledge in September.
In September, Springmate collaborated with SB Furniture Nepal to participate in a trade show for hotels and resorts in Kathmandu, Nepal for the first time.
Springmate expanded its retail distribution channels in Thailand, allowing consumers to purchase Springmate mattresses and bedding at SB Design Square, Fly Now Factory Outlet, Fairy Land Department Store Nakhon Sawan, T-Square Department Store, and Springmate Home.
Springmate expanded its market to Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Nepal, and Vietnam.

Springmate collaborated with Sis N Bro Pvt. Ltd., Springmate's distributor in the Maldives, to participate in a trade show for hotels and resorts in Malé, Maldives for the first time.

Springmate expanded its distribution channels to the e-commerce plateform by starting with Lazada, Central, and Moxy.
In May, Springmate collaborated with Promo Lanka Marketing, Springmate's distributor in Sri Lanka, to participate in a trade show for hotels and resorts in Colombo, Sri Lanka for the first time.
In July, Luxury World which was Springmate's distributor in Myanmar, opened a Springmate showroom in Mandalay.
In November, Springmate launched a new advertising campaign, "For THE REST of Your Life."

We distributed the neck pillows under the American brand TRAF, a high-quality travel neck pillow, became available at King Power.
Springmate also began selling products at Boonthavorn in order to reach customer extension a lot.

Hotelier, an ultra-luxury bedding brand, became available at department stores and shops.
Springmate also began selling products at INDEX Living Mall.

Springmate began using Pocket Spring technology in its manufacturing process to further enhance efficiency and quality of production

Springmate participated in Thaiflex Horec Asia at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center
