Donate Picnic Mattresses to Flood Refugees with Springmate!
Springmate is producing polyurethane foam picnic mattresses, size 90 x 200 x 2.5 cm., for flood refugees in various evacuation centres in the Central Plain of Thailand through its "Little Mattresses for Friends in Need" project. Over the past three weeks, we have discovered that there is a demand for at least 5,000 of such a mattress. However, due to our very limited budget of THB 280,000, it is impossible for us to meet the need as one polyurethane foam picnic mattress costs THB 436 (approximately USD 14) to produce.
We therefore would like to ask you to make a donation to help us alleviate the suffering of at least tens of thousands of flood refugees who have recently been rendered homeless and impoverished by the ongoing natural disaster.

NOTE: The first 250 picnic mattresses were donated to an evacuation centre for Rajvithi Hospital's staff at Rajvithi Hospital (one of the largest public hospitals in Thailand) in Bangkok on November 9, 2011.
